Melissa Bollinger, O.D. FAAO
Dr. Melissa Bollinger is a board-certified optometrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, with experience spanning clinical care, research, and education. Known for her ability to connect with patients and colleagues alike, Dr. Bollinger has established a reputation as a dedicated clinician, an engaging educator, and a trusted thought leader in the field of eye care.
Dr. Bollinger was raised in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and earned her undergraduate degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University and is an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.
In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Dr. Bollinger has presented at regional conferences, led continuing education programs, and consults for major ophthalmic companies. Her presentations covered topics including dry eye & glaucoma management, as well as cornea disease. She has a passion for helping patients suffering from dry eye disease and served as a clinical investigator for various FDA dry eye studies that have brought to market additional treatment options for dry eye patients.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing piano, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and dog.
