1. Get Organized

Using a planner or digital calendar helps you organize your life. Being organized before school starts helps you create a schedule. This makes it easier to stay on top of assignments/exams and know when to book doctors’ appointments.

2. Get Sleep

One of the most important things for your health is getting enough sleep. Getting enough sleep helps you remain alert and focused throughout the day.

This affects your eyes as well! Not getting enough sleep means your eyes are too tired to function as they should.

3. Figure Out Your Priorities

Having some sort of balance in your life is important. You should have a good balance between school, social life, and extra-curricular activities.

4. Drink A Lot of Water

5. Have a Healthy Diet

It is best to look at screens for the least amount of time possible. Looking at screens lowers the number of times we blink, causing dry eyes.

Taking breaks and keeping your eyes at a safe distance from screens is necessary. If your eyes feel tired, this is a sign that it’s time for a break from the screens!

7. Use Your Glasses

You should always have your glasses, even if you use contacts. Your eyes can get tired or irritated at any time.

Taking breaks from using your contacts or eye drops helps keep your eyes healthy. Wearing contacts too much reduces the amount of oxygen your eyes receive.

8. Reduce Blue Light Exposure

At night, you should reduce your blue light exposure. Blue light comes off devices like your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
